This is my first post. I've been visiting this site for 2 weeks, and finally decided to join. I just turned 25, and I think I've been losing hair slowly for last 2 years. I thought it was very minor so I really didn't care (like most of my fellow brothers here) until, bam!, I got a really short haircut, and I could clearly see that I was thinning in front.
While reading a lot of posts here, I have gained a lot of knowledge, and I think I know what I am up against like many of you here. I was encouraged and also discouraged reading posts. No matter how the outcome's gonna turn out, I am going to fight it out.
Here is my status. I want some advise & encouragement from you.
1. All of my top seems to be thinning
2. Clearly frontal temple area is exceptionally thin.
3. When I style my hair, I could see 3 or 4 really really thin hair coming off with the jel.
4. I think my front hairline is receding.
Here's what I have done for last 2 weeks.
1. I've always used Head and shoulder, but I ditched it now to use Nisim. Then I switched to Revigogen 3 days ago.
2. I started using Nisim extract 2 weeks ago, but now I ditched it to use Revivogen's stimulating extract.
3. Thought Rogaine claims that it's only used to vertex area (I have no sign of loss there), but I've read encouraging posts that it does help frontal loss as well, so I started using it 2 days ago.
4. Though I think it's a scam, but I started taking Procerin about 2 weeks ago. I am ready to take any prescribed medicine just yet. (I hope I don't have to go this route) Well, at the worst case, Procerin can't hurt you.
So here's my plan for next 3 months:
1. Shampoo with Revivogen, apply Rogaine (5% minoxidil) in the morning. Take 1 pill of Procerin
2. Apply Rogaine (if time permits) in the evening.
3. Apply Revivogen extract, and take 2 pills of Procerin before going to bed.
(when I apply topical solutions, I apply on all top of my head especially a lot on my frontal temple areas)
Wish me luck! I'll post my progress time to time from now. Good luck to all of you as well! We are all in the same boat, and I feel the pain that you feel, too.
