Been taking finasteride for a year now and I felt my right nipple get puffy and a bit tender. Is this the starting of gyno ? I've hopped off finasteride for about a week now. Anything I can take to prevent the gyno, should I lower the dose or stop finasteride all together ?

When you are on finasteride, testoterone increases and you convert excess testosterone to estrogen, leading to possible gyno.

I won't go into details, but your diet will highly affect your estrogen level, increasing your chance of developping gyno with finasteride. Search on google for an "anti-estrogenic diet", it will helps.

Additionally you might wan't to take those two anti-estrogen supplements: DIM and Calcium-d-glucarate.
