Ok, well I started noticing the hair over my temples disappearing around the age of 18, while still a senior in High School. I ignored it, thinking that some corners wouldn't be a big deal (Afterall, even Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt are missing hair over their temples).

But, the corners continued to grow. Around 20 I started using Rogaine for the temples and, guess what, for the balding spot appearing on the vertex of my head. Now, by the Norwood scale, I'd say I'm about a 3V, but my hair is grown out so it covers up the vertex...but I still feel disgusted at having to do a combover at age 21.

Alright, well I'm 21 now, and four months ago I started Propecia. I've noticed small hairs growing on my temples, but I've also noticed a thinning in the front. I'm not sure whether this is shedding caused by the propecia...or whether I'm advancing in my balding...which would really, really suck.

Could be either, but its probably not. Hair grows in cycles so just kick back, make sure you're using Nizoral, expect that you will shed a few times over the next 12 months, and give the stuff at least 1 year to a year and a half before you assume its not working. Its a roller coaster ride. It will get better and then worse and better again. Thats just how it goes. Take pictures now and dont trust your minds eye. Trust the photos when you do a comparison and only compare once every 3 to 6 months.
