It takes at least 6 months to a year for the cycles to get resynchronized so your shedding will appear to lessen. However, if your male pattern baldness is rather aggressive this is less likely to happen. In most cases aggressive hair loss does not happen as not too many cases are aggressive. Otherwise, we would have a lot more NW6 and NW7 in the world. Be patient and always remember if you change your treatments, then your resynchronization process will take even longer. That is what happens when people decide to add minoxidil to their treatment after a few months of using just finasteride. If you start both at the same time, then that won't happen but then you will never know what medication is more effective for you. Just be patient.
