I thought I would make a positive post about hair shedding.
I have been on Minoxidil for about 6 weeks now. About two weeks ago, I started shedding. Everytime I touched my hair, a few strands would fall out. Given I had major flaking, I needed to shake or brush my hair for a long time before I go out, so you can imagine the amount of hair falling into my sink. My hair was dry and brittle. The Nizoral didn't seem to have any effects, and the size of those dead skin stuck in my hair were incredible.
The shedding continued for about a week. Now I still have to clean my head for flakes except on the day right after I use Nizoral, which I can only use 2x per week, but I only lose minimal amount of hair, sometimes even none.
So keep the faith guys.
