hopefully someone can give some advice.
I used both minoxidil and finasteride for a year and had really good results, after some initial shedding. I then started getting side effects from both. Finasteride caused a loss of libido and minoxidil caused scalp irritation.
I had a short period taking nothing at all (few weeks), then tried reintroducing them. Minoxidil never took again...i always got the irritation.
I dropped the finasteride dose from 1.25mg down to .5mg, then back up to 1mg. Have now been on 1mg for a couple months...
But, I've been shedding like crazy...lost more hair now than I had ever lost. Pretty hard to take, after i had built up so much towards the end of last year.
Has anyone experienced similar effect....any advice??
