Studies show that bald men have higher levels of aggresion as well as higher sex drive and a 30% greater chance of getting heart disease than men who are not balding. Any thoughts on this?

well, makes sense since baldness is in part due to testostrone. if u're aggressive and have a high sex drive, there's a good chance its due to excessive male sex hormones. higher chance of heart attack? well, if u're aggressive and get aggravated easier, there's a good chance some crap will get u excited, thus heart attack.

os it just me or is it rare to see a computer geek or a homo-sexual being bald?

No. I have seen some bald computer geeks with a sex drive so large it was scary. I knew this one geek that could screw till he had no juice left, with a $200 an hour call girl though.

I Agree

I think the conclusion is correct. I'm not bald, but balding, and I have a sex drive the size of Manhattan. I can f*** forever, and if she wants to quit a few gentle slaps of my horsedick to her cheek remind her that big tex needs more attention. Methinks they find that appealing, and it is part of the reason I don't want to play with the Finast. Cowboy up, buddy.

I dont think fina will ruin your sex drive if you have a good one, it should theoretically put into a normal perspective. Big Tex? that is what I call my willy wacker, you stole that sh*t now give it back. Most guys like 75-80% which is an incredibly high number say they are unaffected by Fina's sexual sides.

Big Tex

Redbone, nice name, and as far as I'm concerned (you being in the Northeast and me in Cali) there is plenty of room for more than one Big Tex in this country. Okay, enough discussion on that, this being a hormonal-related forum and what not, ahem, hehe.

I might very well adopt Propecia into my regimen, but I am first wanting to see how minoxidil affects me. I'm just wanting to give it a few weeks and see how my scalp reacts. If it continues as smoothly and easily as it has so far (8 days, no irritation nor flaking nor shedding) then I might consider adding another element to the plan. I'm thinking a DHT blocker would be in order, but I'll start with spironolactone 2%.

If I go 3-4 weeks on minoxidil, and 2 weeks on spironolactone, and still have negligible side effects (just a little stinging 10-15 mins after minoxidil application) and negligible shed, and maintenance of my hair then I will continue this for at least 6-9 months.

If after 6-9 months the minoxidil/spironolactone combo is not holding my hair then I might consider trying Propecia/Finast at about month 12.

Peace bud, out.

Yea gardner thats kinda what im doing. My consultation just went through with dr lee and he answered my questions and I should get my products soon. I came to the conclusion I am gunna use

Xandrox 5% daytime solution without BV
spironolactone 5%

Test this out for like a week c how i respond, if I respond with no probs im gunna add Xandrox 5% nightime solution with retin-A and use it once a week, then twice a week, and so on and see how i tolerate it. Then depending on my results and how I tolerate these products I will maybe add Xandrox 12% and lose the retin-a, just depends on how things go.

Its funny you mention that about the sex drive cause I was thinking the same thing a few days ago. I said 2 myself "Propecia couldnt give me sexual side effects cause I have a high sex drive". I mean my sex drive is a lot higher than most guys. I bet guys with higher sex drives have a better chance of not getting sexual side effects with propecia.[/b]

Young guy... spironolactone 5%

Whassup Youngguy

Keep me posted on how the spironolactone 5% works for you, i.e. application ease and how easily it fits into a daily routine. I ask this because I was torn up whether to order spironolactone 2% or 5%. The advantage of the 5% is that it is 5%, which is 3% more than 2%. The disadvantage is that from the only source I have considered buying spironolactone from, Dr Lee, the 5% comes in a cream form and the 2% comes in a liquid dauber.

Let me know if the cream is easy to apply. I chose the 2% dauber beccause I thought it would feel cleaner on my head as opposed to something that I am guessing has more of the texture of cold cream, the 5%.

I have my paperwork straight with Dr Lee, and the way I see it the application ease issue is the only deciding factor between 2 and 5% before I order.

Anyone else have any insight on this? Please chime up!

Cheers, and happy regrowth younguy,

Your logic is impeccable :p

[a***]
Actually, 5% is 250% more than 2%
[/a***]

I'm curious as to the same questions. I just ordered 5% spironolactone lotion and want to know how much of an encumbrance it is. Is it a once a day thing? Twice?

Phat.

Sounds like you have a good plan younguy well thought out, keep us posted. Yes, I say that about sex drive because we all know guys who would f*** a ham hock and others that could care less about anything of a sexual nature. I personally think about sex all day and any little thing like the curve of a pretty girls foot in a high heel or a nice *** or upskirt shot gets me going. Anyway my point is I am hoping that the guys who are getting sexual sides from Fina have low sex drive to begin with, the guys who have other intertests besides sex like computers.

Gardner, 2% spironolactone is easier to apply and is said to absorb better than 5%, so it just isnt the percentage of product in the solution that works. Most people here use the 2% liquid me included. Cream should be used on bald areas and liquid on thin areas.
