Hey guys...

I just want to say it's all about the hair cut man... if you are a diffuse thinner... just get the sides cut really short and leave the top atleast 1 inch or longer and then gel it down. Take a look at this pic of me... I am pretty much able to hide any signs of male pattern baldness and I have over 70% loss on the top... i think the most important thing of all is a good barber... don't settle for second best, and try to get a man to cut your hair not a women... women don't know sh*t.

I have a similar style to you dude. Except my top is bout double the length yours is and I don't have it sticking up at the front.

I apply couvre before bed, and wash my hair in the morning with water only for an undetectable effect. Apply a little xandrox for added thickness, and comb it forward with some gel in it = noone knows a thing.

70% might be a little high, but it is probably not far off.

I have blonde hair and still mostly full coverage on top but I'm 31 and have been diffuse thinning since age 20. Genetically, blondes tend to have more follicles plus blonde hair doesnt show thinning as bad. Until my already high hairline moved back a tad nobody would believe me when I told them I had hairloss because I lost at least 50% of my density on top but still "appeared" to have full coverage.

a good hairstyle definitely helps. Putting minoxidil on my scalp in the am after shower really adds body to my hair too, go figure.

The only problem is that not everyone has hair that blonde, and some don't want to dye their hair that color either.

Heh. Not only do I have more loss on my crown, I also have recession.

I understand your concern, but really, you need not call that a lot. It looks good. (As these things go.)

Hey I'm 23 now... I noticed it starting to fall out when I was 16-17...

Yeah, I had about the same amount of loss at 23. Man, I only wish I started then, because at 24, my testosterone levels must have went crazy because my hair thinned tremulously on the crown and a lost a lot of it in the span of 3 or 4 months.
