How come its always the dark haired who post the success stories?

I regularly read on the forum that people with dark hair see the best results from hair regrowth…

Would I be right in thinking that it is only because the pigmentation in their hair is so dark to start with that has the hair in male pattern baldness areas gets thinner it doesn’t lighten in colour to the degree of people of lighter hair colour to start with like brown through to ginger.

So if you have dark hair, theoretically you could be balding the same as somebody with light brown hair but its not has noticeable? I guess the same could be said for people who are naturally blond too… their hair is so light to start with that when their hair starts to miniaturize and become thin… there is no pigmentation difference.

Would also explain why a lot of light brown haired people suddenly go blonde once they see signs of their crown going thin… aka David Beckham... it was reported he British press he has seen a top hair consultant in Germany for treatment on male pattern baldness.

This is just my own thoughts… maybe our more experienced members with their knowledge can back it up or prove otherwise?

All the trials of clinically approved hairloss medication talk about regrowth in terms of hairs per inch. Dark hair is naturally significantly thicker than blonde hair (although blonde people have higher densities)

So assuming there are no statistically significant differences in number of hairs gained by blonde and dark haired people this is one possible explanation for the 'success'.
