same results

I had the same thing. My derm said try Rogain and it got worst. My scalf at times feels like it is burning or tingling or crawling in spots. The sides above my ears is where the worst shedding has taken place. I do have all over shedding aswell. I have no suggestions just empathy.

Hi Rita-

I too noticed hair loss in the last 8-9 months and can now see parts of my scalp. I just got back from the derm and he ordered a series of blood tests, which I suspect will be normal... He said it looks like Telogen Effluvium because I have no large round spots. Anyway, he said that if the tests are normal, mother nature would take care of it. He said I *could* try Rogaine, but he seemed to think it would resolve itself. Someone told me that Nyzoral shampoo would help the flakiness and itchiness caused by other treatments. I don't know if it does anything for the actual hair loss, but it may soothe your scalp.

Hi Rita, what do you mean by "HB less"?

How long have you been on Rogaine for? And how low was your ferritin? Taking vitamin C helps your body absorb iron better. Things such as caffeine and calcium decrease absorption.

Having a good nutrition is not only beneficial for your overall health, it also helps provide your hair with a good environment for regrowth.

Please let us know how you are doing!
