Suggested Dosage of 0.5mg Avodart

What would you suggest dosage of 0.5mg Avodart? I have been on propecia for 2 years and am switching to Avodart. I have diffuse thinning and the front is not receding too badly.

And does anyone know what kind of effect these DHT blockers will have on a person's prostate if he doesnt have enlarging prostate problem? Do you think it will actually prevent prostate related problem?

just start of with .5mg, that should be fine, also it could help with preventing enlarged prostates in younger users. Could make it worse for older users. Goodluck

and how often should you use the dutasteride pills (dosage .5 mg)in a week, if you want to have the same dht reduction effect as like finasteride 1 mg per day?

Dutasteride - 0.5mg dosage?

It seem like 0.5mg per day is what most people are doing. Is this correct?
I have just received some Avodart (Dutasteride) from elitenetpharmacy.com - any bad experiences with them?
I was on Propecia (9 months), but have decided to give this a try.
Maybe I am making a mistake and I am just experiencing a shed as it has thinned out noticeable on top and front.
On the other hand I am keen to give this Dutasteride a try.
Any comments?

Thanks - Confusing. I'll stay with daily. Also will try to keep monthly record of pictures so I can monitor.

Why would Avodart make the prostate worse for older users? I think it's a safe bet that most Avodart users are older.
