i was thinking that it would be good idea for some of the great success stories to post. give an idea of how they started, what regimens they used and etc. i guess im looking to hear from people who had had success similiar to the guys posted in the photo gallerys on HairLossTalk.com ie: martin, john, etc. so anyone out there who has had great success please post your stories here (pictures would be great if possible). i know there are probably alot of dudes out there who have done really well and probably frequent this site just to read about us b**ch about how we think our lives are over.you guys sit back chilling with the hair you regrew/maintained just loving it, dont yous??? well, you are the guys who need to chime in every once in awhile to encourage us. so get with it, punks.

I always chime in; no one seems to give a flying f***. They'd rather b**ch about the following:

1. How big a loser they are

2. How my regimen couldn't have possibly worked, after all, their 4 day attempt at Minoxidil applications yielded nothing but two hairs in the sink.

3. Impotence

4. How Finasteride killed their family and their dog. It also turned them from average sized white men to 4'10" chinese men.

Et cetera. No offense to the thread, it's a good idea. But nothing here ever changes, just the faces, just the names....

8O I have major regowth (on temple and hairline) after 5 months and I have no side effects (from finasteride) and I feel great! I started early, which I feel was key in stopping the thinning. I am on the Big 3 and I love the results! Had some itching at first, but nizoral took care of that in a few weeks, and then it was smooth sailing. I have been on this site every signle day for 3 months, but don't usually post, but OPTIMISM I CAN DO!
GUYS -
1)BE CONSISTENT - APPLY/TAKE EVERY DAY (minoxidil and finasteride) - DONT SKIP!!!
2)THINK POSITIVE THOUGHTS- I imagined it was going to work, even when I saw 30 hairs in the sink. It hurt to see, but I knew it would work because it had to! AND IT DID!
3)CELEBRATE THE SMALL SUCESSES- If you see just one blonde hair, be happy, becuase more are coming...see #2!

MOST OFF REMEMBER- YOU ARE NOT WHO YOU ARE BECAUSE OF YOUR HAIR. WOMEN ARE WAY MORE FORGIVING OF "NOT PERFECT LOOKS" THEN MEN! SO RELAX IF YOU CAN, AND GROW SOME HAIR...OH I HAVE HUNDREDS OF REGROWN HAIRS AND YOU WILL TOO!!

True. Again, my story is very simple. 11 months on my regimen. I went from a 3" by 3" thin spot to full crown coverage with a little combing. The hair continues to thicken.

I never saw "regrowth" per say, only deminiturization of the follicles I still had. My hairline had some of those weak, thinner hairs on it, and those began to grow normally again. I went from a norwood 2 hairline to a 1.5.

The hair isn't perfect, but god, it's lightyears better than it was. I used to tell myself no one could notice - but that was delusional crap. Now, no one really can tell.

Most of my friends think I got surgery.

Axon is completely right....there are many posts with success stories. Nobody seems to want to listen...and when they do...they don't want to believe.

wait til this stabber dude starts to really lose it... then he'll be on the big 3's dick! its very easy to be calm and collected when ur a norwood .5, the fact that u even come to a hair loss forum with a .5 speak of you. now go try to "cut up", skinny punk.

I've accepted it, it really doesn't bother me much anymore, and I am Norwood 2-3 at 19.

There's nothing you can do about it, he didn't say he wasn't going to take the medications, he simply said he knows that they arent going to prevent the inevitable. If you spend every waking moment thinking about how to stop your hairloss, you're ony going to be torturing yourself when you have hair? I figure, if I'm going to lose it, I might as well enjoy it while I have it.

hey, its cool to be positive and "accept" things. more power to you. but this guy stabber, i see a common theme in all his post. he seems to be so in control, he acts like he has the amazing ability not worry and be stress-free. well guess what... most people who are NOT bald dont worry about their hair. if i was a .5 i wouldnt even know what the acronym male pattern baldness meant let alone be a "regular" on a hairloss forum.

I have been using Revivogen and Saw Palmetto exclusively for 6-7 months.

They pretty much killed the hairs falling out, but I am skeptical whether any have thickened or regrew.

I am happy with this regimen, but I am going to add Propecia very soon to see if I can get even better.
