Switch to oral finasteride or continue with topical finasteride?

So a year ago I started oral finasteride and I got gyno symptoms after a month but since I was determined to not lose my hair I would take a couple weeks break and then microdose. I did that for a few months and eventually it seemed like the very minor gyno stayed. I switched to topical finasteride but only used it 3 days a week from august 2021 all the way to a month ago where I bought the minoxidilmax topical finasteride that has 15% minoxidil. For a month now I've been using it every day but I'm wondering if I should just be taking the pill since my gyno has stayed the same. Do you guys think the gyno would get worse with oral or has it plateaued? Also is topical really as good as oral? I feel like oral is way better than topical and I am at a predicament where I don't want to be 6 months from now where I should have been taking oral over topical this whole time.

I been on Topical Finasteride since 2010, works and gave me less side effects compared to oral.
