So I've been on finasteride (halving propecia tablets most recently for a good amount of time) since Sep 2013. I've had mixed results, had a great period of time where I regrew really well and was so happy with my progress. And due to cost, I decided to take the plunge on Proscar.
So I upped my dose about 2-3 weeks ago from 0.5mg of Propecia to 1.25mg of Finasteride.
I'm experiencing an itchy scalp, a really bad shed and I'm losing ground fast here - am I just imagining this? What's happening? Could I have induced a shed from doubling my dose? I'm still an NW1.5-2, but diffuse thinning.
I'm worried this might be it for me
