My fincar is soon finished and wanted to order new from inhouse but seems to be out of stock! So i ordered from goldpharma and then thought, maybe its not so smart to switch between brands?

Question is, is it ok to change between brands?

Take a mental step back and think about this logically for a moment, ask yourself, why would it be not so smart to switch brands?

Such a notion seems like a paranoid delusion, 1mg finasteride is 1mg finasteride all the same, regardless if it's brand name Propecia or generic Fincar, etc. The only difference between brands would be the colour/shape of the tablet and the binders, fillers and excipients used in their manufacture. All of which have no bearing on the drug's efficacy.

Absorption and concentration shouldn't differ between brands. If you're worried, just make sure the brand of finasteride you buy is manufactured by a pharmaceutical company that has to adhere to certain standards (look for British, US, EU or Japanese Pharmacopeia on the package label)

Finasteride is finasteride. It doesn't make any difference what brand you are using. The active ingredient is identical.

As long as the actual pharmacy selling your pills to you is legitimate and trustworthy, you have nothing to worry about.

I've so far been on two different generic brands of finasteride, both German-made: FINAPIL and HORMOSAN. They both work identically. As long as the pills are legit, there should be no difference.

I've been on Propecia for the last 18 months with some results. Just not enough for me to justify the cost. That's why I went generic. With the money I save I can use Minoxidil & Finsteride. This combination works great to me!
