?SWITCHING FROM 2.5 MG PROSCAR DAILY BACK TO ONLY 1.25 DAILY

would switching back down to only 1.25 mg proscar a day still work as well as it did before i started taking the 2.5 mg daily? i started taking half a proscar about "6 months" ago but im worried that lowering the dose after using a higher one so long, that it might not have the same effect as it did before the increase! does anyone know anything about the affects of lowering the dose after so long? thx

Judging by all the studies done with various dose rates (yours being way more than neccesary according to the studies) you shouldn't have a problem dropping down your dose to the recommended rate of 1mg. Just curious why you decided to start out using half a proscar rather than cutting it into 4ths?
