Switching to dutasteride. What mg should I start with

I just recently ordered dutasteride. I been searching all over about starting dutasteride. I read a while back somewhere that one should start off with higher dosage of dutasteride at the beginning(first week or so) and slow down to every other day thing. I can't find that information anywhere now.

How much mg of dutasteride should a new user start off with and how long should they use this higher dosage for before they reduce it to every other day?

After that, what is the recommended mg dosage of dutasteride for a weekly schedule?

You can start off with pretty much any dosage under 0.5 mg a day.

The recommended dosage for prostate is 0.5 mg per day. Each tablet is 0.5 mg.

If you wanted you could use 0.5 mg per day for two weeks and then cut back to 0.5 mg 3x a week, every Monday Wednesday Friday for example, from then on.
