Anyone here consider (or are currently taking) a systemic aromatase inhibitor such as Chrysin/Piperine (Super Miraforte), Arimidex, or stinging nettle extract?

These drugs reduce estrogen by blocking the conversion of excess testosterone into estrogen.

Here's an article that suggests peeps on finasteride. should couple with such drugs:

A lot of weight lifters take it while coming off a cycle. But I dont know how effective it would be in this case. I wouldnt f*** with the other sh*t.
Taking a dht inhibitor and an anti-e for the rest of your life?

that doesnt sound too healthy to me

Chrysin (with or without piperine) is a ripoff. It simply doesn't work. If you want to reduce estrogen to prevent estrogenic side-effects while using finasteride, better stick with the proven Arimidex.

I wasted a lot of money on Chrysin. Ditto what Bryan said.

Arimidex will definitely lower your estradiol levels.Mine went so low that my Endo could not detect any in my blood workup.

I used it for approx 14 days and quit to go on Nalvadex and quit that too after the same time period because my GP thought I was getting edema from it.I'm not so sure it was from that drug now and may try it again after getting a baseline reading from my endo in a few weeks.I was using the full 1 MG though.

No I still have some firmness under the left nipple. It's only been a few months though.I have gained fat too because I got lazy and hopeless when this happened. After vacation in a couple of weeks I will get my sh*t together again.

Increase in hair transplant? What do you mean? You mean hairloss?Yes.I have lost a lot of hair.I have it super short and gelled back now.Sort of spiked the way some guys do to camouflage loss.Getting it cut short was the best thing I ever did.Wish I did it 30 years ago.Hindsight is 20/20.

Sorry MrTalogen. My keyboard is acting funny. It inserts some left overs of some texts which I copied sometimes. My mistake I did'nt read it after I posted. Apologise for that. I meant did you notice any increase in your body weight when you had excess estrogen. You said you gained lot of fat. Is it possible that excess estrogen should have caused body weight?

Reason why I am asking is I faced sexual side effects on propecia and still undergoing it after being off from it for almost a year. 1 week back i started taking tribestan, I am noticing an improvement in my erections. Also, I am becoming more and more lean day by day. I have read tribestan normalises estrogen content on our body. So just thinking this is what causing it? Anyway i am happy with what is going on.. Thanks dude.. I am sure you will recover soon

MrTelogen,

Why did you go on an aromatase inhib. in the first place? Did you have elevated levels of estrogen in your body? And, when off and then on the inhib., did you notice any sexual changes?

I went on it because I was developing Gynecomastia. one week after being on Arimidex I noticed an increase in Libido.

MrTel,

If you're on finasteride, did you notice a change in your hairloss situation? You mentioned earlier that you did in fact see more hair loss, but were you on finasteride at this time?

I wonder if taking a very dosage of Arimidex with finasteride will help combat its side effects (particularly sexual). On other message boards, a lot of people boast about results when coupling these two drugs but I haven't seen it on this board.

Bruce, what is your experience in this regard? You've tried Chrysin, but what about the stronger stuff?

Thanks guys. We're all in this together.

Some report using one half a MG twice a week. With finasteride.

I have been off propecia for about three months now.It had stopped my hairloss.
