hey guys,

I am using Fungoral 2% (its exactly the same with Nizoral 2%) and makes my hair looking thick. So, I am happy with it. But the rest of the days I use an unknown herbal sampoo (...Biocap) which is okey, but ......I am wondering if it would be a good idea to use Neutrogena T/Sal sampoo for the days that I dont use Fungoral.

T/Sal sampoo contains salicilic acid and is recommended by some doctors as a good medical sampoo. They say that is a good scalp cleaner.

T/Sal does not contain coal tar like T/Gel.

Any experience from users of T/Sal?? Is it a good idea to use it in compination with Ketoconazole sampoo (i.e Nizoral?)?

thanks! :freaked2:

yeah its a good shampoo and would probably enhance nizoral's effectiveness slightly. the salicylic acid removes the dead skin off your scalp..a lot of people use it as a pre-wash to nizoral and I think dr. proctors keto shampoo already has the salicylic acid in it

hi,

I will try it! But, I dont know how...I mean, should I use it as a pre-wash and then use the Nizoral, or is it a good idea to use them on different days..so I can use Nizoral 3 days per week and T/Sal the other 4 days...?

Does T/Sal (salicilyc acid) make hair thicker looking as Nizoral (at least in my case..) does ?

i really dont think t/sal will make your hair look thicker. IT is still a good shampoo though. I dont think it matters much if you use them on the same day or on alternating days...the main thing is to make sure your using nizoral 3x a week.
