Hello,

My name is Max and I'm just wondering about my hair lately. I'm not sure if my hair is just thinning or I'm paranoid over a comment or two. I don't even know much about hair or the different branches of hair loss.

I do know its definitely not a bald spot or a receeding hairline. Its quite peculiar and maybe its not even an issue. I'm not sure but I wanted a few opinions nevertheless; might even see a doctor for further confirmation but until then; I'd like a little help. I'll try and explain the situation.

My hair is pretty thick, no receeding hairline, no bald spot. Don't think I'm stressed and far as I know my mother's father didn't lose hair until perhaps 35-40. My Father is 56 years old and has no hair loss, pepper-grey speckles; looks rather good. My grandfather (both grandfather's are deceased for the record) Didn't lose hair until 60.

My own hair, seems... more sparsed. Besides if you part down the middle. Just looking directly at a mirror I can see multiple areas of scalp and my hair is approximately 3 inches long if I had to guess. I've usually slick my hair back or spike it. When spiking it my hair has always naturally been sparsed and I can't remember the last time I thought I might be thinning. However, I feel paranoid and wondering if the random parts in my hair is too thin, less hair or as it has always been. I do know I don't lose a lot of hair at night. No signs of lots of hair in my brush or just anywhere.

So my question to the rest of you, is any advice? Comments? Speculations? I'm at quite a loss on how to take it, I've been glancing in the mirror lately. I mean baldness doesn't bother me in the slightest but I'd love to be aware. At least I'll know when I need to cueball. XD I'm not looking for solutions to hairloss. If its time for it to go, I'll just enjoy a shiny scalp instead. I'm also 25 and it wasn't until a few months ago did I even take notice or an interest. I had a friend andmy sister ask if my hair was thinning, so I wonder if its just now noticable or whatever.

Thanks, hope to get a lot of response. Tata.

P.S. I just thought of something, perhaps a bit too vague. I think from crown of head to forehead is the random thin looking areas. No reeceding line andn o bald spot its like -ALL- over. But far as I know its always been that way. That might clear a bit up for what I'm trying to explain; I've no webcam or I'd take a short to show but. I've got nothing.

if you say losing hair doesnt bother you then thats cool, more power to you.

however if youd like to keep your hair as i suspect you probably do,get on propecia or proscar(do a search as to what they are on here) itll help you maintain what you have and possibly thicken, you sound like a diffused thinner to me

im sure someone else will be along soon to help you some more

good luck
