I've tried searching high and low for the finasteride study showing serum DHT levels over the course of a week after a single dose, but can't find it anywhere....
Anyway, IIRC, it's the lowest in the first 1-3 days, after which it gradually rises back up to baseline by day 7 or so. Given that, would it still be beneficial to take finasteride just 2 days a week (every 3 days, give or take 1)? I realize that taking a low dose of finasteride everyday is almost the same as taking a higher dose, but what about taking a normal dose just twice a week - allowing DHT levels to rise a little but never getting back to baseline?
All finasteride does is in terms of male pattern baldness is lower DHT, so technically any reduction in DHT is better than none, correct?
