Taking finasteride while wife is pregnant

I've been off finasteride for a year and my wife is now finally pregnant.

Can I resume treatment as long as we have no sex until the baby is born?

I would be taking a film coated pill and not touching it either, just putting the plastic directly in my mouth and pushing the tablet.
