18 yo Norwood 5 here. I think I'll jump on the big three but I'm worried if I take finasteride it will prevent me from getting a beard. Is thar true ?

If you're destined to get a big thick beard, then finasteride wont prevent that. My facial hair continues to grow normal. I guess it might take a 10-15% hit. Also post pics of your hair. If you are truly NW5 at 18 then it might not even be worth it.

Your beard should be the last worry when planning to undertake a hormonal change journey.

Norwood 5 at 18! Nothing is going to work finasteride isn't that effective for such level of radical genes
Shave it, work on your muscles and study and get a good paying job that should compensate

Man I already shaved it. And it even don't looks thaaat terrible ( mainly because im black... i guess) but there are times i wish I could just grow out my fro you know.
