I'm here to get everyone's opinion on my progress.

It's been well over 12 months (began taking Proscar in December 2009), closer to 15/16 months now.

Anyway, these are the photos I took from the beginning.

One way I've tried to measure any further receding is to use the freckle thats situated right in the corner of my right temple. You'll see what I mean.

Hairline when I was 10:

Right Temple:

I began using minoxidil about a month ago, just as a safety precaution. I use to shed A LOT, but now (maybe because of the shorter hair?) I'm not shedding as much. Could be because of Scalpure I now use too.

All I'm looking for is an honest opinion on whether I've receded any further over the past year or so.

Thanks GreyMan - but pretty sad that you're the only one to respond so far!

I'd love it if we could foster a sense of community here at HairLossTalk.com. Our situations are fairly difficult, so the more support you receive, the better!

I rly like your hairline! Don't bother too much about it. Continue treatment. How's the top? No problems there?

If u can mantain that it's very good. Don't bother so much about the lateral temples. The're normal for most of the people. Just be concern of the top temples. I don't see a proeminent V pattern. So it's good to mantain it. No hair loss at all at this point. Go enjoy life!

i think your hair looks great man, congrats. i was thinking about buying scalpure a while back to help with my dandruff/seb derm, what do you think of it and how often do you use it?

I keep thinking my temples are receding but then I see photos such as those above and it appears to be the same, so I'm not sure whats going on! If I can keep up this maintenance though I'd be quite happy.

I use Scalpure around once or twice a fortnight - so not that often. I find that it cleans the scalp quite well though, leaving it feeling cleaner.

Actually your temples look quite good. If I was to pass you on the street I would never think you have temple recession!
