Hi I am 27.
My bro lost a lot of hair at 22 or so. Dad is near bald. Since 21.
I had no appreciable hair loss until 5 mo ago, I started Adderall XR then.
I quit a week and a half later.
Diffuse loss all throughout scalp. Esp on top perhaps.
Looks fine dry, when not wet. Looks full. I lost a third of volume though. Never came back.
Hair is longer and grows quicker off meds. I think I have lines that have no hair or maybe vellus hair.
I think going off meds for 6 mo will help. I am on dexedrine. Everything else like vyvanse and adderall had way more shedding.
Rubbing hands thru hair for a minute in the morn yields 30-50 hair. More when on meds for a few days straight.
I never saw hair on my pillow till I tried Adderall and the Vyvanse 7 weeks later.
Please help me.
Is this male pattern baldness? MY hair isn't worsening noticeably, but looks fuller off meds. The lines through my scalp don't reverse. But, 2 weeks or even 7 weeks is not long enough.
Advice please? Is this alopecia?
