Telogen Effluvium or MPH?

Hey everyone,

I noticed my hair shedding in mid January, seems to be overall hairloss as even the hair on my sides feels much thinner. Lots of hair in the shower and on my pillow when I wake up in the morning, basically freaked me out.

I'm about 80% sure i have Telogen Effluvium but part of me thinks it could be MPH because I have noticed my hairline on the left temple side has looked like it is thinner than the rest. Pictures of my crown, left temple, and right temple are below.

Reasons for why I believe I have Telogen Effluvium, back in early Nov 2013 I was under severe emotional stress for a good 3 weeks. This was caused by a traumatic event, I had anxiety and general paranoia which a Doctor gave me Xanax to help cope with it. I am also asian and have no family members who have any hairloss.

Got a derm appointment in a month but my hair loss has been stressing me out lately. Has anyone ever had Telogen Effluvium noticed an affect on their hairline?

Are you kidding? Your hair is perfect! If you notice a shedding, maybe it's only seasonal shedding in winter, it happens to some people.
Seriously now, get out of here, you have no hair loss. And if you say you have no family members with hairloss, then good luck in your life!!

Thing is I shed a ton and this has never happened in the past. My left temple I see recession. Has anyone ever had telogen effluvium here? Does it affect the hairline?

The hell? Thats like a negative norwood. Can we get some guys posting in the forums with ACTUAL hair loss? This thread is such mockery.
