Hi All,

I started balding when I was 22, I'm about to be 25. Since then it's gotten worse and worse in my temples, the back of my head is unnoticeable as far as thinning. I'm currently at a nw4 at my temple area, need some 2nd opinions and advice.

Is there fue for just temples? Around how much would that cost for someone with my receeding?
Should I just bite the bullet? People have told me that I don't look bad with a shaved head but idk....sometimes I think I look fine and other times I hate it so much.
Would my hair react well to a transplant? I've attached a photo of my normal hair, right before I shaved it, about 9 months ago. I understand I would need to go to a doctor for an exact answer but just looking more for ballpark answers.

I have my current shave, my hair before shaving, and some other photo.

Getting older sucks doesnt it. You had some good looking locks at age 20. I dont know much about hair transplant but you just need to be realistic with what you are going to look like after. Have you done any treatment like finasteride and minoxidil?

Yes, I have taken both finasteride and minoxidil. I had extreme brain fog and didn't like it, but that being said I didn't really want to commit. I'd be willing to be on it again, I know some transplants make you take it 6 months before the operation.

I'm just looking to have some hair, nothing crazy like in the photo i attached. I would just want hair as my head shape is kinda weird. Expectations are pretty low right now, I know i'll never get back to the point that I was before.

If you can handle finasteride, then I would really recommend doing the big 3 for a couple years before even thinking about a transplant. You could really see some good results and keep your hair for quite a while. But that is a personal decision you have to make. It is likely that your hair loss hasn't stabilized since you are still young, so a hair transplant could be risky.

Thanks man...The thing is I feel like my temples have basically stopped growing hair. I get TINY little hairs but their thinning as well. If I were to start up, could I save any of that hair? Idk..
