Testicular pain from day one

Hi everyone, last week I tried taking Propecia (1mg fina). I took it at 6 PM and at night the same day I was having testicular pain. I took one pill a day for other 4 days in total and it is now 3 days I am off and still have some mild testicular pain. Should I be worried or is it normal? As of now I am not planning to use finasteride again.

It's normal, I think. Is caused by fluctuation in hormonal balance, but is not supposed to last too much longer.


Why you dont try topical finasteride?
I dissolve 2mg of finasteride in one bottle of minoxidil (60ml) - 1 ml everyday. No sides effects detected until now. My itchy and shedding has gone, I was only on minoxidil before.

What worries is that I only took it for four days and since day one I experienced sides, I.e. testicular pain. And now that I have been off for three days pain is still there.

Did you stop because of the testicular pain? If the pain is very intense you should go see a doctor immediately. If you have very slight pain I would wait 1 or more 2 days to see if it goes away.

No it's not very intense, I tend to notice it more when I am sitting.. If it's still there by Friday I will go see a doctor. Thanks.

Hi, it was shown that the finasteride keeps doing its activity in the body for a week or more, after only one single dose. I would say, wait at least 2 weeks from the moment you stopped taking it and see how things are going.
In any case, you should not worry about anything if you took it only 4 days. Things will get better.

yup, whenever i come off finasteride the 2 week mark is when i notice any side effect dissipating completely, give it at least 2 weeks.

Nothing to do man, i had testicular pain also. Like 1-2 days where i was half month on finasteride
