I'm pretty fucked at this moment. I only have pics of hairline to compare, but my mid scalp, crown and sides are way worse. Do you also see any miniaturization going on?. I think im gonna start with toppik while I rise my ferritin levels.

Get a usb dermatoscope to check/track your miniaturization. Don’t rely only on your naked eye. By the time you see noticeable miniaturization with your own eyes a lot of loss has already occurred. How long have you been on oral min?

I've been on oral min for 10 month, but i switched to 5 mg 5 months ago. My hair has been checked a month ago by my trichologist. He told me I don't have miniaturization at the moment, but I've lost lot of hair density.

If you’ve lost density in this short of a time frame then it might be from a telogen effluvium triggered by increasing your oral min dosage. Did you experience a shed during the first 5 months on oral min? Miniaturization takes some time to be noticeable because it develops over the course of several hair cycles.

right side pic you are a norwood zero..if left side pic is current then thats what you get

you had no need to take any medications for hair loss in the first place

The problem is that when I started oral minoxidil at 5 mg, I already had low ferritin levels so all the hair that I lost due to the minoxidil shedding, did not get replace. I have worsen it because I didn't know I had low ferritin and I kept doing long sessions of lifting, running etc, which lead to lower ferritin levels so my hair couldn't recover those lost hairs. I've shed lot of thick hairs lately too. I'm waiting to iron supplements to do its work.

How does one increase their ferritin levels?
As simple as taking iron supplements. If your ferritin is 70 ng/ml or higher, you won't notice much benefits on hair. In fact, having high ferritin levels is not good, because it can lead to inflammation and severe damage to the liver and heart. You can even die if you take it without any supervision or if you don't do blood work every 3 to 6 months. I'd only recommend Iron to people with less than 60 ng/ml, and whenever you reach those levels, unless you are vegetarian/vegan or have somehow a low iron intake, stop using it.

I read most of that online as well. I am trying to get a lab to draw blood and do the following tests: D3, Ferritin and NAD and none are receptive so far.
