I've been using Minoxidil 5% for 3 years now. It has restored quite a bit of the hair on the apex or crown of my head. Unfortunately it has done nothing for my front hairline. I have never tried Propecia. Can Propecia restore my receeding hairline? If not, what will?

Thats just his signature...it appears under anything he writes. As for the front thats a tricky part to grow back. I would think that minoxidil would be your best bet for regrowth. I'm convinced that once that frontal hair is gone it's gone.

At this point a hair transplant is your only option. Even if minoxidil grows back hair on your hairline it will be nothing more than vellus hairs which are cosmetically useless.

Propecia may improve your hairline but there's no guarentee. It's helped mine quite a bit and many others as well. If you're looking to "restore" your hairline that all depends on how far gone it is. Right now the only thing that can restore a hairline would be a hair transplant.
