Alright this one's gonna be short. Basically what happened when I originally started finasteride at 0.5 mg every day, I would get puffy and sensitive nipples which hurt and stuff (made me consider quitting). I then dropped the dose to every 72 hours (every 3 days) 0.5 mg and took finasteride like that for a little over a month. That made the sides go away.
After that month I increased the dose back up to 0.5 mg every day (even tried 1 mg every day) and still no side effects even weeks later.
So, bottom line, if you get sides from finasteride, try lowering dose to bare minimum, take like that for a few weeks, then try tapering back up. Sh1t worked for me (don't know how or why).
