From holding up double mirrors outdoors at noon (making sure no one's around!), I don't think the sun is my enemy yet. Before I wash my hair, however, it is slightly noticeable. When greasy, it IS noticeable under bright bathroom lights that are about a foot above my head. The sun, being several million miles away, is a less direct indictment.
It is to my relief, however, that almost nobody believes me yet. (Hopefully I'll be able to take back that "yet.") Last week I got a haircut by someone who I'd never met, and asked if the thinning was noticeable. She said no.
My big fear, aside from the fear of no success on the Big Three, is that the illusion would be shattered if I got a really short cut.
Is this anyone else's place in the scheme of things right now?
