The Women's MB on HairLossTalk.com... anyone ever taken a sneak peek??

While logging on here, I recently found myself wondering what goes on over in the Ladies Room... the ladies' message board that is on this website.

I mean, I see the "Women's" section and I can see that there is activity there. The thought crossed my mind, do any of them ever look at our postings just out of curiosity? I wonder what they would think. Do any of you ever look over there?

Well, that sparked another thought. Why the hard and fast dividing line between the men's and women's boards? Why not a unisex board where the men and women could talk together? Who knows, perhaps there is a chance of a love match?

Then, reality hit me. If those ladies are looking for love, do you think they would try to find in amongst the male contributors to a hairloss website?! For a sudden moment in time, I realized how big of a baldy loser I am.

I then got curious, wondered if they talk about the same kinds of things that we do. I also wondered if they banter amongst themselves about men just as we do about women?

Well, I can't take it anymore. I HAVE to take a sneak peek, see what the hell is going on over there. Guys, cover me... I'm going in. Shhhhh!.. here goes....

the women's board makes me feel bad for even caring about my hairloss, considering i'm a male, and it's more common/accepted. some of them seem devestated.

Women and hairloss?

No way it´s tougher to lose the hair if you´re a woman. I can´t believe we´re going all sentimental about it. To me hair loss was a friggin raging tragedy when it happened and wow did I get depressions or what?
It´s like saying: Death is more permanent if you´re a girl...
Nope.

Maybe it´s worse for a woman because people may think: eeeey is she ill? Cancer? But then we´re talking bout the good ol alopecia areata and ANYONE with that horrible condition be it man or woman will swear by their balls and ovaries that it´s one mean a**hole of a disease.

So my point is: Personal suffering caused of hair loss is the same but maybe people react different to it´s appearance... F'ck them anyway.

Good points, I was devestated as well. But you know, there are balding/bald guys that get a lot of hot girls. I can't see it the other way around though.

I agree with that, hairloss for me was devestating but i know its something that is pretty natural for the majority of men, doesent make it a damm bit easier though. It must feel terribble for women as it is a LOT less common for them to lose their hair.
