Hi my name is James and I probably have a different problem to most guys on this site. I got Seborrheic Dermatitis when I was 16 and this caused lumps of dry scaly skin on my scalp. The skin seemed to be attached to the hair follicles and when I pulled it out the hair never grew back. I now have bald patches on my temples and a bit on the side and crown. My scalp used to get exremely irritated and itchy also. I now use nizoral 2%, 2 or 3 times a week and the irritation has stopped but the lumps of dry skin still remain.
As I said I know this is a bit different to the problem most guys have, but if any one has any info whic could shed light on the situation I'd really appreciate it
PS. I was think of going on rogaine/finasteride but would I be wasting my time since I probably dont have regular male pattern baldness ?
