Hello

I am 38 years old and I have thinning hair.

What happened is when I was 20 years old, one day I shaved my head with a razor blade.

Since then, the hair on my head has never grown back with the same fullness.

I have no family history of balding, in fact my grandfathers had full heads of hair until their deaths.

I have asked several physicians over the years about this, and nobody has given me any good advice, just prescribed finasteride and recommended shampoos like Nioxin.

Nothing has helped. I don't think I need a transplant. I do not have a receding hair line.

I know for a fact that this thinning began after I shaved my head at the age of 20 and I have never shaved my head again.

Similar result has happened on my legs, where I have shaved, and the hair does not grow back as full but rather in patches.

What should I do? Please advise, thank you

Alex

what about your facial hair? do you shave them everyday? do they grow in ptaches too? I have never heard about something like this before....if you could post some pictures of your hair line and of hair on top and back, that would get you more replies and help..
