ok first took some generic minoxidil for around 2.5 months and the stuff gave me a terrible reaction, my skin would look like crap and it seemed as if it damaged my hairline worse than it was before. i stopped using minoxidil about a year ago So my hairline has basically receeded further and my temples as well, and i was wondering if maybe the new rogaine foam would suit me better and give me some benefit. check out some of my pics on the site under avatar, you think foam would help, i plan just putting it on the bald temple area where hair use to be don't want to touch the hair part for fear of making it worse. i have found some good shampoo, mouse, hairspray and hairdrier that does a pretty good job of concealing bald temples but if you run your hand on the left or right side you can see the loss. one more thing does rogaine spread, if i apply on one part does it go 4 inches higher some however underneath the skin

The foam is likely no more effective than the liquid. The benefit is convenience. It's worth a shot.

People need to start discussing the fact that, acording to the FDA trials for the foam, the success rate was a around 85% compared to the liquid version which had a success rate of something like 62%
