Thinking about propecia/proscar or even dutasteride

Okay, I'm 19 years old so this hair loss is affecting me badly in every possible way. I still have lots of hair but in last year it has gone from head full of hair, very thick hair, to very thin hair. I still have hair but I want to react as soon as possible, because I read that finasteride mostly saves your remaining hair, and sometimes helps you grow new. I don't want to wait to lose more so I ask for your advice, should I start, and what should I take, and where to buy it from, possibly some online shop that delivers in EU. Thanks for any response.

I also have genetic predisposition for hair loss, so I'm pretty sure I am going to lost it all if I don't react.

I'm also going to take better photos when I get my camera back.

With all the stuff going on with the reporting of sides, I would say learn all you can about potential sides. Then decide what's worse, the small chance of sides or going bald.

I am aware of all sides and chances of getting them, and I am willing to take that risk

you can take dutasteride or finasteride, whatever you want.

Dutasteride works 20% better than finasteride from what studies have shown, will have greater chance of sides and sides will last longer if you do get them.

If you take finasteride, take 1mg or 1.25mg daily
If you take dutasteride, .5mg daily is what is used in the studies and what I take as well

You have a diffused hair loss (not too bad), you're making the right decision to start finasteride/dutasteride !

I have one more question if someone can answer it, I know that finasteride is something like a lifetime obligation if it works and it stops your hairloss, but I was wondering if it actually works on me, just stops hairloss, can I use minoxidil for like a year or even more, to regain some hair and then if it regrows some of my hair I continue using only finasteride and my hair stays still.

no minoxidil works through a totally different mechanism. If you stop minoxidil you will lose all the gains induced by minoxidil, even if you were castrated
