thinking of shaving it off, but cant pull it off.

hey guys,
I'm 25 and I'm thinning/balding quite rapidly on my crown. It has become so bad that I can't really pull off a medium length hairstyle anymore.

I've been thinking of shaving it off, but I have a really badly-shaped skull. So I don't think shaving it all off will improve anything at all since I'll look like a freak. I'm not exagerating either, I shaved my head when I was younger and it did not suit me at all. Do I have any options? wear a hat all the time?

some of you guys who look really good with a shaved head should be grateful. I'm in a lose-lose situation. :lost:

How long ago did you try it? It might suit you now?

Or why do you think it doesn't suit you? Don't shave it all off, try going shorter like 1/2 inch? Maybe that'll work better?

I don't think it will work because of my odd-shaped head. It didn't work a few years ago for this same reason.

What about short-hair then?

You say you can't pull off medium length, and you don't want shaved neither... It sounds like the only option left is short hair..

Join the club. I can't grow my hair past 2" anymore neither. My hair is about 1-2" on top, and shorter on the sides.

Just take it shorter, if it looks ok keep going a bit shorter .... The worst case scenario is you look bad for a short while whilst it grows back.
