I’m female and cannot use minoxidil due to the side-effects. Has anyone tried the S5 cream..did it help? Does it make your hair shed initially like minoxidil? Appreciate any feedback. I find I’m very sensitive to any hormonal changes so don’t want to try anything to alter my hormones.

S5 cream is snake oil (useless) and I've used both the S5 and S5 plus. If you want to use spironolactone use it orally. The topical solution on here is garbage.

Ok good to know. It’s a shame that these forums all seem to promote snake oil.
What about the Riviogen - any good?

Revivogen can make hair follicles thicker overtime but its only an illusion not a solution. It doesn't do anything to address the cause, it just hides it like hair fibers and minoxidil.

You might want to consult an endocrinologist regarding your hair loss. There are a number of causes for female hair loss and I wouldn't randomly start using any products (topical or not).

And btw the "new" S5 cream is useless. I actually lost hair because of it and I generally respond very well to topical spironolactone.
