I read that at finestride takes 1 year to work and at the 6th month period your hair might be at its worst.

My hair is still thinner than baseline 8 months ago. Keep the faith.

I've had the same problem. Was on liquid rogaine for 3 years, and I switched to foam 3 months ago. I've started to notice massive loss.
I also purchased from ebay - could it be counterfeit? Or is there something about switching from liquid to foam?

Fake foam? That would probably be quiet rare. I'm willing to believe fake finasteride / dutasteride than fake foam.

Keeping in mind that I was already on finasteride for five years, I have had at least 2 sheds since I added foam and nizoral... I think in fact that I am just coming out of a third small shed, on my crown. I have been using foam all over, but after cassin's post about massaging the foam into the scalp I started doing that on my crown... about 6-7 weeks later I perceived some shedding or hair death on the crown. I think that the foam can shock hair and it can fall out but the new hair is thicker and healthier. We'll see, my crown hair got better after a few months into it, but then I think it has tapered off. Maybe massaging it in will kickstart more growth.

So tough out the sheds. I take MSM + Vit C and my hair grows an inch a month. I think it's a nobrainer to take them since I want my hair to grow fast right now.

It's probably due to the awesome effect of their new foam. It's causing massive shedding because its more effective at getting to new locations pretty much without the mess. I would expect better growth with consistent use.

I used to use liquid but I think I'm allergic to Propylene Glycol or something so I stopped (not just itching, but hives). I've just started foam and have gone through a shed. Been through this before, so I'm keeping my cool. I'm wearing a hat and going out less for the time being (which works for me anyways...need the time and money for other things).

Anyways, I'll post an update in a few months as to what I'm seeing. I'm still very excited about the foam...since I can use it and my body doesn't hate it. Stuff is pretty messy though. It tends to change from foam to liquid pretty quickly, especially on warmer nights. I try to massage it in with a Q-tip, cuz I really don't want to get it on my hands.

I actually had great results with minoxidil. I started my regimine 2 years ago and only used minoxidil and Nizoral and my hair got extremely thick but recently is getting thin again (hormones catching up) so I started finasteride only 7 month's. The liquid works it is just messy. Best of luck to you
