Thinning Badly In Recent Weeks Make Me Freak Out Completely

My thinning and receding is out of control the last few weeks. I don´t know what actually causes it. I have just restarted minoxidil, might be a shed, Telogen Effluvium caused by anxiety over hair loss or just male pattern baldness accelerating.

I am absolutly unable to focus, learning or working is basically impossible, since it only takes a few minutes and I find another one of my fallen soldiers in front of me, reminding me that I am balding. And then, everything else seems useless to me and I am starting to feel very depressed again.

I have just ordered the self-made Brotzu lotion, which shows you how desperate I have become. If the treatments don´t start working soon, I am doomed.

Thx for reading

Well, are you taking finasteride?

Without it you continue to bald

Yes, I am on finasteride, but I am starting to doubt it is doing anything for me.

Google says that my head shape isn´t suited at all for a buzz. Going from pretty to ugly in just a few weeks.......Life is basically over for me.....

2006, but I badly neglected my regimen this year and will have to pay the price now it seems. You probably assume I am exaggagerting, but my hairline is thinning on a daily basis. Believe it or not. I have made the biggest mistake in my whole life by being inconsistent with hairloss treatment.

dutasteride once a week seems to work better than finasteride daily. Atleast thats my experience

I dunno about your situation but your screen name is very cool. One of the original punk rockers. One of my friends even named her cat after Iggy Pop. How about Handsome Dick Manitoba?

How are you getting on Iggy?

Have you played around with your style to make it work better for you?

I'm never sure what "buzzing" means but if you have noticeable hair falling in front of you then it's probably way too long for diffuse thinning. Of course I could be wrong as I don't know how extreme shedding can go.

But just cut it short, if you mean "buzzing" by going almost skin bald, I don't really see why you need to have either lengthy hair or slybald, there's no need for such extremities.

Try and ride it out with short hair, don't buzz it too tight. The thinning won't be as noticeable and minoxidil has a chance of doing something, rather than rubbing it on bare skin.

Thanks for asking. I am itching like crazy and I am thinking, that I am still shedding badly. Luckily, I don´t see the hairs anymore, but it also makes me nervous since I can´t tell how bad it really has become and I will have to waita few months to find out. I am gonna add dutasteride and RU within the next weeks. I have no more time, since I want my hairline back and chances are better, when loss has been fairly recent. Oh, and my "style": I have become a hat prisoner......:(

Here is my hair in July:

September before the buzz cutz:

I cut it down to 6mm all around my head. Actually, the horsehoe isn´t really noticeable, since I am thinning all over my head, but I am gonna grow it out again and see how it looks like.

No, I was mostly a diffuser until recently. Actually I was already balding about one and a half year, but I was in denial. I had very thick hair and always was told, how I would "never go bald". I also didn´t know there are indeed effective treatments and believed the crap how it is normal to lose "up to 100 hairs".

P.S.:

Until about 2014 I had much more hair than I had in 2006, maybe I am gonna post in success stories some day, even though there is no happy end. They don´t have many long term stories.
