Thinning crown

I have always had fine hair but plenty of it. I am in my forties now.
Over the years the hair has thinned so that my crown is showing as a small bald spot and also when my hair is wet you can see my scalp.

I am looking for a product that I can paint onto my bald spot so would appreciate any advice with those you have had sucess with.

What is Fabulan spray like? Or restrand.co,uk?

Why do you want to paint your scalp !?!
Just use Toppik or something to thicken up the existing hair, much more natural looking.

Toppik or prothik would both solve your problem a lot easier.
Admittedly I've never used anything that just paints the scalp, but I can't imagine it would be easier to use or more effective than the alternatives I've mentioned.

Thanks for the replies.

I was unaware of the products you mentioned but yes it certainly seems like a better idea than painting the scalp :)

Which of the 2 products would you recommend?

I am located in the UK.
Do any shops here stock them or should I order online?

I think either one of these products would work fine for you.
Prothik is my favorite because it's easier to apply (you just spray it on) and it stays on for me better. The down side is that it's not as easy to wash off. Toppik and other brands of the shake on fibers will come off easier, but that can be a problem if you get caught in the rain or sweat a lot.

thetodd, are you in the UK?
If so do you order it from the states?

I have ordered a few things from the USA before and usually end up having to pay extra to customs.

Why order from the states? You can get most things (or an equivelant brand) from UK suppliers. Usually free next day delivery.

Nah, I'm a Yank.
I order from Folica most of the time.
