Been browsing this site for a years time now.

Started at age 19 currently a norwood3v age 23. diffuse in a norwood 6 pattern - Badly, scalp VERY visible in sunlight. Caught my hairloss waaaaay to late, despite of various comments/hints from people around me, i dont know what i was thinking.. Finasteride for 6 months (maintaining, i think). Just recently started to go all in with big3 + dermarolling. (Somebody Alex’ approach.)

Boyish futures - weak chin. Can somewhat offset these two things with my THICK beard.

Oblong headshape. Some friends have told me, that i’m going to look like an egg when i go bald. I think its more like a peanut. (They are good friends, no worries, we are harsh on each other, but its all love in the end.)

I don’t know what i am trying to tell you guys.. I’m just sick and tired of this being a issue when only entered adult life... Like c’mon man, what the f***???

I dont know man... i’m so tired...

I totally hear you, bro!! There are literally millions of guys (and some girls) who are in the same boat as you are. My problem is I got nobody to talk to about all this. Parents dont understand any of this, and friends keep telling me to just suck it up

I suggest you hit the gym, do some steroids, get a tan, and get on no fap and no pillow with an extra dose of confidence for breakfast.

“Hit the gym bro”... I’m already in good shape.

And yeah the thing with friends and family who don’t understand the problem is that they aren’t going through the same thing, at a young age. Like for real, i feel like my youth being stripped away from me. Atleast i got to live a happy youth until 21/22. Haha, good times. Guess we just have to focus on other aspect of life now until baldness is common at age 35 or so.

That being said, i just went to the military for 9 months. I was surprised how many young guys who are balding, and quite badly too actually. There was two young men age 20/21 with practically NOTHING left up top. One of Them kept some thin, UNhealthy hairs on top. It looked like he was sick. Dude wasn’t even capable growing a decent beard. I got one friend at home who has the same problem. He’s suffering badly too.

I really hope they cure this thing, or else i’m not going to put children into this world. Period.

Actually met a pedagogue (that used to work at the primary school i went to), i at my local gym yesterday. He told me “That’s not fair, im sorry for you”, and without even telling me what he was talking about, i knew what me ment. My reply was just, yeah, life is a b**ch.

dont even bother having kids, I think anyone with what they consider a "physical flaw" having kids is unfair to the kids. People like to say "oh but their kids could be a genius, an artist, cure cancer" etc etc but chances are they wont. I think there is a bigger chance that the kids just going to be average at best. Its like a weird quantity over quality thing with people talking about people. In the end its statistically proven that on "average" attractive people actually do better in life, look it up. If you have some kind of serious flaw then why already start another person with some kind of disadvantage. I mean do what you want, I just never understood the logic behind the selfishness of people wanting/having kids. I think we, as a species, breed WAY more than we need anyway.

I disagree. Everyone has flaws. And average is enough for me.

I literally just wan’t to feel good i my own skin, and pre-mature baldness is killing that feeling. I stand out now. Face like a 20 year old, hair like a 40 year old. Thats odd man..

For me it’s not selfishness to want a child. It’s allways been the biggest goal of my life. It still is. Finding a partner, having hair like this age 23 just makes everything so much different.

then what is it, was your comment an idle threat to a world that isnt listening? You are on here complaining and saying "how dare this happen to me I swear I wont have kids!"
I say, great sounds good and you do a 180? Its the same as someone with a knife to their own throat screaming "i swear Ill do it... no no, this time I mean it!"

I swear no one wants truth, they just want to hear what they want to hear. Hows this instead.... Ill give you fluff

retraction of previous comment
-------------------------------------

Dude dont worry man, in 5 years theyll have a cure and your kids will never have to worry about this horrible disease..... cough cough bullshit.

Point is, i still want to have kids - i just dont want them to go through premature baldness. And i know they probably won’t cure this thing anytime soon - or ever for that matter. And if that’s the case i ain’t getting no kids. Simple as that.

Chill bro, i think you are overreacting a bit

Id only be over reacting if I was seething, or yelling here on the other side of the internet. Neither of which I am doing. Im actually quite casually typing here and consciously thinking about what Im saying.
People now say "stop over reacting" online when they start feeling threatened. Its like people calling someone racist in an argument about social/racial topics, it used to be a nuclear bomb drop to halt the conversation not going in their favor and start detracting to a new topic where the other person now has to defend their stance on something else. Please dont do that.

You made a comment, I replied to your comment with words that pretty much agreed with your, now apparently false, threat. You now backtrack and try to make me the bad guy because of my views on it all. You disagreeing with me originally is fine but dont try and make it seem like I'm the one over reacting, Im not the one making threats.

If there is a disconnect in everything, understand you have 9 whole messages. Ive been down this same road with people in the past, Ive been on your end at my worst moments. Its pretty much the nature of this sub forum. I agree'd with your comment, then tried to show you how agreeing with your retraction would actually sounds/feel. In the grand scheme of things which do you "like" and which do you think is "true"?

As i mentioned in the threat, there was no bigger reason to make this threat. It all comes down to being out of options and no one to talk to about it. Dispair, i guess.

So the reason why im typeing “youre overreacting a bit” is, that this threat wasn’t created to discuss wether or not people should have kids because they got flaws or not. I just wanted to get it out somewhere, and this sub forum seemed to be the place to get it out.

I’m not, in any way, trying to make you the bad guy. I just disagreed with you, thats all. You have your opinion, i have mine.

Sorry for any mispelling their might be, english is not my native langue - as you might have discovered.

no problem,

now a days when I have "my moments" I usually just say "Im in a mood at the end of it". Havent had one in a while. Keep up with the treatments, I still dermaroll myself but usually kind of light to just puncture the skin for topical penetration. Im not able to take oral finasteride due to side I get (rare in most) so Im on basically 2 FUE procedures and topical finasteride + 10% minoxidil and Nizoral. Some days look better than others. Youre still young, you could bounce back if you keep up.

Yeah i’m well aware guys. And still early days with treatment. And i ain’t throwing in the towel.

I went to have some beers with the boys yesterday. As i walked down Jomfru Ane Gade (Denmark’s biggest party street) a girl with a bald boyfriend (HUGE bald beefhead) looked at me shortly and said to her boyfriend “the way he wears his hair just say he has hair problems”, i was seriously considering smashing my skull into the nearest wall, haha. Just wearing my bangs down, not to hide recession, but to due to the fact that if i wear it up you can easily see through it.

Connected with another cool bald guy yesterday. (We were having drinks together at a friends place before going to town) as the night went on, we were having a chat. I asked him about his bald head, and told him it suited him (good headshape, prominent jaw). He said “Thanks, but i absolutly hate it”, girlfriend left him when hair went down the drain too.. Girls are so shallow at a young age man, its disturbing.. I guess it’s a good way to filter the right girls from the wrong.
