Is there any student there you are friends with and trust? Maybe you can do the exam with them.

I don't know what else to tell you, except quit medical school and go work at McDonalds. Just kidding. I wish I had some solution for you.

Maybe you can go on vacation for a while and miss that part of it.

So I use hairsoreal. I have very bad diffused thinning so i'm pretty bald without the fibers but here's my crisis. I'm in medical school. in two weeks, we are supposed to be practicing head/scalp exams on each other and I have no idea what to do. There's no way I can show up without the fibers in my hair and there's no way i can let anyone do a scalp exam if I have the fibers in...wtfffff :dunno:

This is what happens when you're living a lie, time to man up and shave that sh#t.

It could deeply hurt him if he were to not use the plugs and shave it all of a sudden especially during the middle of his medical education.People normally need time to accept things like this or maybe a change of place might help some[like me] to make a move as drastic as that.

Could you just go to the instructor and tell him what the deal is?

S/he might excuse you for the day or just give you the lesson himself. It's probably better then just missing class and maybe hurting your grade.

Otherwise, yeah, I'd be tempted to just skip class that day.

tell them you have lice. simply tell them you don't want to do it. i gel my hair and with or without any products i simply don't like people touching my hair. never have, period. what would happen if you're sick that day? just don't go if it's an issue.
