Currently on week 4 with Rogaine foam.

I think id be more concerned with the thinning all over the top of your head than which Norwood u are. Unless its just the lighting.

Anyway id say ure a NW2. Good luck with your treatments.

I would say you have receded somewhere in b/w the II/III degree, but thinning in a much larger pattern (Norwood 6).

However, your thinning looks very treatable. If I were you, I would add finasteride asap and throw in some nizoral shampoo. That way, you have the best chance at recovering the most hair.

Give this "Big 3" combo at least a year to fully work, and it will be no surprise at all if you end up in the Success Stories.

So, Rogaine foam alone not enough?

Need to add finasteride (proscar or fincar) and Nizoral?
I have Nizoral already but only used it once few months ago since some say it only works in combination with Rogaine etc.

Yes, Renegade's right. It's very important to use these three methodically and consistently. Nizoral was used as the shampoo in the trials of Propecia and shows up as being the only shampoo to increase hair count.

Very clear picture of your hair and if you get on the Big 3 and post regular pictures (every month) the progress on this should be worth watching.

If you do this then there should be a good chance you'll be in the success stories eventually.

your hair loss is really aggresive, I dont think minoxidil alone will make a big difference. "big 3" is the way to go!
