I don't want to think about this, but I think I am developing scarring alopecia. I'm having big aches on the scalp and shedding terminal hairs. If you look at the first photo, you will see that zone is very inflamated. I'm using ketoconazole and it is not working. I used steroid shampoos for 3 weeks and this doesn't seem to dissapear. I don't know what to do. Pics were taken to the hairs behind the hairline.

As someone who has LPP - I'd recommend finding a specialist hair derm - one knowedleable about alopecia not just MBP. You will need to get diagnosed to get access to the right treatements. Lots of general derms are clueless about scarring/unusual aopecias and lots of people get misdiagnosed - so need to find an alopecia/hair specialist.

I have been diagnosed with decalven's (scarring hair loss). What meds are you on? Maybe I should get on those too
