About 7 weeks on 1mg Propecia. Very little crown thinning, no vertex problems, just jumped on it to maintain my hairline and temples, which have receded pretty good.
After 7 weeks, my front hair is definitely thinner. Shedding maybe has slowed down a bit, but I'm still shedding. My frontal scalp is just starting to look so thin, the wind throws it all around, and I can see the long miniaturized colorless hairs poking out all through the hairline. After I shower, it's like my whole hairline has miniaturized "frizz" all over it, and I can see the same frizz buried underneath terminal hairs in the vertex. I have pretty fine hair anyways, so the miniaturization process is just making my hairs skinnier and skinner.
I gotta admit, this forum has made me paranoid about finasteride on the frontal region. I want to ride it out like everyone says, but if finasteride is making my hairline go faster than it would have normally, that would just suck.
Any thoughts or encouragement would be great right about now.
