so this guy (hypo-is-here) is going on crazy about finasteride and side effects etc. Kinda scared the shiii outta me with his post abou the guy from the uk who can no longer get an erection, how his penis feels disconnected from his body. what do you guys think of this?

I know most people on this forum would probably call the side-effects over rated, and according to clinical studies very atypical. However from personal experience I think side-effects and varieties of such could be more possible than what merck claims. I was on proscar (1/5th a day for about 4 months), I experienced decreased libido, as well as getting more moody, and for the first time in my life I also had random panic attacks. Subsequently I decided to quit the regimen and switched to an all topical one. It is stil unknown what the long term effects are for taking a systemic drug like propecia.

i keep having this 'needing a pee feeling' down below, so iv stopped it for 4 days, and im feeling a little better.
