We all know their is nothing new in the way of hair loss cures or prevention and there won't be for at least 100 years.

I think it is time for this forum to be deleted. It is a waste of space.

Well someone is a Debbie downer.. New research is always coming out as well as new studies. This sub section isn't just for new hair loss treatments.

No, even if nothing comes out hair loss forums are important to keep snake oils at bay.

Or you could simply go away and not bother those of us with greater ambitions?

I think it's time to ban Deadman, is a better option now. Why are you posting this crap on the wrong section anyways? This has nothing to do with research, gtfo.

The subforum "Impact of hairloss" should be deleted. Nothing good there. A total hell for a happy innocent receding young man.

It's your daily dose of reality. No such thing as a "happy receding young man."

Either way, what he is especially: arrogant.

He is arrogant enough and considers his opinion important enough to determine when a forum can be deleted, i.e. he thinks he knows best what others should be able to discuss.

Even if there is not "the cure" on the horizon, people still want to discuss research. Deadman1's mental horizon, unfortunately, does not seem to go far enough to see that. He just declares this forum can be deleted because he thinks he is the authority to decide when an issue needs no longer be discussed.

You're right about research, but he is a bit right too: some sections of this forum like "Impact of hair loss", and even the first 2 sections from top "general discussions" and "tell your story" are full of useless topics.
Why would someone who is affected enough by hair loss need to read other sad stories? How exactly does this help him??

So Japan has new regulation that allows stem cell therapies to come out to market during Phase II trials which essentially means a treatment within 3 years....

...and NOBODY is talking about this.

If Lauster's bioreactor works right now, then that '5 year' timeline might actually be true this time around.

It's still their frakkin' own choice if they want to read it or not. It is for them to decide what forums they want to visit, and not for anyone else.

And regarding the sad stories: The real reason why the research forum is useless right now is because the "Impact of hairloss" section is apparently not enough space to put all the whining threads about "oh my god the world is treating us so badly", because apparently these discussions now also need to be conducted in this forum section. Just like the Hair Congress thread got derailed by that.
