When I was around 22 I noticed some slight recession above my temples(right side is slightly more receded then left, crown is fine). About 5 months ago(late may 08) I started taking 1mg of Finpecia I got from united pharmacies daily. I had sides for maybe a couple weeks, though Ive never really shedded alot, 0-20 hairs after showering. I did miss taking it for about 2 weeks straight during this time. I also used NuHair serum for a couple weeks.
Since then I have had some very small growth in the temple area(and even a few hairs extending to my eyebrows). But the middle of my forehead has thinned ALOT since then, much more noticeable in the past couple months. And when hairs from that area shed they usually have a small white things(follicle?) at one end. What is causing this? Shouldnt I be at least keeping the hair I have, not losing it at a faster rate?
As of last week, I added 1% Nizoral a few times a week, and generic 5% Monoxidil to my hairline before I go to sleep. Is this a good idea? Should I change my regimen? How much longer should I wait for results?
I wouldve been fine w/ my hairline just staying as it was 6 months ago, but now its showing.
Any advice would be appreciated, I can probably get some pics up if that would help.
